Vast Aire

The first time the world heard from this MC, he was one-half of the duo Cannibal Ox. With his solo debut, “Look Mom…No Hands,” he challenges questionable MCs and the struggles compounded within everyday life. Countless guest appearances and a handful of singles and mix tapes later, Vast made his solo debut with “Look Mom…No Hands.”

Knee-deep in gritty street tales, the album not only makes plain the realities of city life, it takes a critical look at the actions of our government and social constructs that only serve a select few. Pledges of loyalty and allegiance sit alongside reprisals for MCs who crossed irrevocable lines. Crews come up and others get shot down.

Featuring appearances from Sadat X, S.A. Smash, and MF Doom among others, Vast delivers an album that tells it straight, blows minds, and sparks introspection once the listener’s headphones have done their job.
